Map Terres d'Hérault Geopark - ENG
In 2026, the Hérault department, together with the Terres d’Hérault
Geopark, was awarded the prestigious UNESCO Global
Geoparks designation.
With this designation, UNESCO recognises the Hérault for the richness and uniqueness of its geology.
It also commends the commitment of an entire community: residents, scientists, tourism professionals, associations, craftspeople, winegrower… Together, they embody the strength and richness of our Geopark.
